Dining+ Alerts now cover Disneyland Resort

Dining+ Alerts now monitor Disneyland Resort restaurants and dining packages, including the experiences that load late and unpredictably.

Dining+ Alerts are now available for Disneyland Resort, working exactly as they do for Walt Disney World. You set an alert for a restaurant, a date, a party size and a time window, and Mouse Agents checks availability continuously. When a table opens, you receive a text and an email within moments.

Disneyland has needed this for a while, and for a specific reason. Dining opens 60 days in advance, but a handful of experiences, most notably the fireworks and parade dining packages, load inconsistently and often well after the window opens. Specialists have been checking the same page for weeks hoping to land on the day it finally appears. That part of the job is now handled.

The launch list covers Blue Bayou, Napa Rose, Carthay Circle, Trader Sam’s, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures, the Fantasmic and World of Color dining packages, and the Plaza Inn parade package. We add seasonal experiences as Disney announces them, and the Oogie Boogie Bash World of Color Dessert Party is a good example of what is coming next. If a venue you rely on is missing, let us know in the Mouse Agents User Group and we will add it.

Three details worth knowing before you set your first one:

  • Disneyland alerts count toward your Dining+ Alert total. They are not a separate allotment.
  • The system will not let you create an alert for a date the restaurant is closed or a party size it cannot seat, so every alert you set is one that can actually fire.
  • Alerts arrive by email, and by text when you have a phone number on file in Account Settings. For dining, the text is usually what gets you there first.
