Sailing Watches for sold-out sailings, plus Fall 2027 and 2028

Two Disney Cruise Line updates arrived this week, and they work well together.

Sailing Watches on sold-out sailings. Sold-out sailings now appear in the Sailing Watch picker with a red Sold out tag, and a watch set on one behaves like any other. Cancellations continue right up to the penalty dates, and a watch is the dependable way to catch the opening rather than hoping to check at the right moment. If you have clients who missed the 2027 Westbound Transatlantic, this is how you get them on it.

Fall 2027 and 2028 sailings. The newly released sailings are in the DCL Quote Builder and available for Sailing Watches as of today. You can price them for clients now and begin watching the itineraries that historically fill first.

For anyone newer to Sailing Watches, a brief reminder of how they work. You set one watch per sailing, specify the stateroom category you need, and the watch notifies you when that category opens or when the fare falls. Price drops are included, so a watch on a booked sailing continues to earn its keep after the deposit is paid.
